Heading Down is an amazing and dramatic, yet soft and gentle image. Clasen was perched high above the entrance to a sort of canyon. He instructed the cowhands to drive the horses toward the narrow entrance to the canyon below. As the herd ran head-long past Clasen, they stirred up an huge amount of dust which made the image dreamlike. It is also interesting to see the horses at the back of the herd emerging from the thick dust like ghosts.
Giclees on Paper are deckled to the image on all four sides.
Giclees on Canvas have a colored border allowing for gallery (or museum) wrap.
